We are one of the UK's leading online bathroom retailers, headquartered in Hessle, East Yorkshire supplying quality bathrooms to consumers and trade customers alike. Founded in 2001, and recently acquired by Endless LLP we have since gone on to become one of the UK's most successful pureplay retailers.

Due to development with our business, we now have an opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our IT Team.

At VictoriaPlum.com we pride ourselves on being a great place to work and this role is crucial in providing a customer focused 1st/2nd line IT support function to our Head Office and Distribution Centres whilst contributing to the development of IT support facilities and the client infrastructure.

The role

Working in a close knit and supportive team, this role reports directly in to the Infrastructure Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • To identify end-user knowledge gaps and provide appropriate training
  • To support and contribute to the development and growth of the infrastructure team
  • To contribute to the development of IT support facilities and the client infrastructure
  • To create and manage appropriate IT support request reports
  • To create and maintain accurate company asset records
  • To manage user access management
  • To manage endpoint security across the client estate
  • To manage the client refresh cycle
  • To manage the IT support helpdesk
  • To provide 1st line support duties as and when required
  • To provide software and hardware 2nd line support to users across 5 sites

With strong people skills, this role would require someone to work well in a team, and communicate in a way that is in keeping with company values.

Well organised, driven by process and the ability to prioritise is crucial, along with a keen eye for detail and pride in their work, getting things right first time.
