A Private Equity owned business recently acquired by Endless LLP we are based in Hessle, East Yorkshire just a stone’s throw from the Humber Bridge, with a Distribution Centre in Doncaster and Home Delivery Hubs across the UK. We employ approximately 320 people with exciting plans for further growth.
We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our existing People team reporting into the People & Culture Manager.
The HR Advisor will provide an HR Advisory service to both colleagues and managers, ensuring that a first-class HR service is provided along with high quality solutions that foster positive employee relations.
The role will support with the Talent Acquisition of new colleagues into the business through the enhancement of existing direct sourcing methods.
The role is very much a generalist role which will cover all elements of HR including engagement, payroll support, administration, HRIS, Health & Well-Being and L&D.
You will have the opportunity to lead on allocated projects that will add value to the business and help to continue to drive the People function forward, including being part of the team working towards our 3 year strategic objective to become the best place to work.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is looking for their next HR opportunity and is at least working towards or completed their Level 5 CIPD or has equivalent experience. You must have a full generalist background not afraid to be hands on. Ideally having operated in a fast-paced retail / logistics environment with approx. 250-350 employees and be familiar working within a matrix organisation. You need to have a strong knowledge of employment legislation and practices. You will need to be organised, self-starter, positive, tenacious, able to work at pace and not afraid to challenge and push back. We are looking for a Team Player who can step in and support other team members when needed and can also work autonomously when needed. You must also be flexible to working hours to support with recruitment events. Excellent IT skills are required along with previous knowledge of using HRIS.
