We are one of the UK's leading online bathroom retailers, headquartered in Hessle, East Yorkshire supplying quality bathrooms to consumers and trade customers alike. Founded in 2001, and recently acquired by Endless LLP we have since gone on to become one of the UK's most successful pureplay retailers.

Following the successful trial of our Design and Installation Service we are now launching our search for an Installation Field Sales Manager to join the team here at VictoriaPlum.com and manage a Field Sales Team of 10.

We have several opportunities to join this team and more in the pipeline for the future.

The role The role of Installation Field Sales Manager will lead the team of Field Sales Advisors, where they will be expected to nurture, coach, motivate and inspire the colleagues to encompass the VictoriaPlum.com values in order to achieve the highest level of sales conversion whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

The Installation Field Sales Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the field sales team and for exceeding all required performance targets and metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage, motivate, nurture and enthuse the team and ensuring a fair and consistent approach across the team
  • Conduct regular 121’s, reviews and appraisals with Field Sales Advisors
  • Exceed all operational targets for the Field Sales Team
  • Analyse processes to identify re-engineering opportunities, operational improvements and efficiencies
  • Monitor the output of the teams and produce meaningful reports
  • Create an environment for change, increased efficiencies and solutions for improvements
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer service are is maintained to both internal and external customers
  • Nurture internal and external relationships between key VictoriaPlum.com partners and departments
  • Work towards and engage the team in a strong business strategy, ensuring departmental objectives are being met in order to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure team members diary of appointments with both customers and prospects are managed effectively, achieving a high level of productivity and optimising journey planning where possible

Who we are looking for? The ideal candidate will have a strong and proven experience of people management and managing a field-based team and motivating them to exceed performance metrics. Previous experience of bathroom design and installation is required. You must have a strong attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and accurately and to tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels. Excellent organisational skills and ability to take ownership and accountability for own and teams work. Strong customer service ethic with a passion for continuously improving the levels of service provided. Strong sand proven sales, influencing and negotiation skills. Good business acumen and commercial awareness.
