A Private Equity owned business recently acquired by Endless LLP we are based in Hessle, East Yorkshire just a stone’s throw from the Humber Bridge, with a Distribution Centre in Doncaster and Home Delivery Hubs across the UK. We employ approximately 320 people with exciting plans for further growth over the next 12-18 months.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Internal Recruitment Advisor to join our existing People team and support in promoting VictoriaPlum.com as an employer of choice. We are also proud to be selected as one of twenty-five companies to be on the CIPD Returners Pilot Programme which this role will support on.
The role will have responsibility for partnering with stakeholders to support them with their recruitment needs and to recommend the best resourcing mechanism to attract first class talent into the business and to also develop pipelines for future growth.
You will own the recruitment process, managing the ATS, advertising roles on the VP careers page, to also include; revising job descriptions, completing new starter paperwork, supporting on assessment days, interview questions, etc to ensure a memorable candidate experience.
You will have the opportunity to lead on allocated projects that will add value to the business and help to continue to drive the People function forward, including being part of the team working towards our 3 year strategic objective to become the best place to work.
The role is offered on a 30 hour per week or 4-day week basis (days to fit business requirements) but flexibility required. The role could go full time in the future
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is already operating in an inhouse recruitment role and or agency. Experienced in shaping recruitment process and utilisation of social media platforms to attract top talent is required. It is preferred that the individual is coming from a fast-paced environment and used to recruiting volume and in areas such as customer service, sales, IT and digital marketing, plus other head office functions. Ideally with exposure to retail / operational environments with a headcount of 250 – 400 employees. A self-starter, organised, tenacious, able to work at pace, team player but able to operate autonomously when needed. Experience of using HRIS and ATS is required. Excellent IT skills along with flexibility to hours to support with recruitment events. A Recruitment qualification would be desirable.
