With lighter evenings and a touch of spring in the air, you've all been very busy sprucing up your homes for the year ahead. This has meant an absolute feast of amazing entries into our March Share your Style competition.
We really were spoilt for choice this month, with some absolutely wonderful designs capturing our imaginations. We put four images forward to the public vote on our Facebook page and we're delighted to reveal that the winner was:
Dave Reilly from North Yorkshire
When we saw this amazing bathroom, with its beautiful timber-framed roof and gorgeous layout, our jaws dropped. It's not just the clean, white, minimalist design we liked, but also the finishing touches, such as the stacked toilet rolls in a basket, what appears to be a repurposed stand for bathtime essentials, and some well-chosen greenery. The public agreed and voted this design as their clear favourite, making Dave the proud owner of a new iPad mini.
Dave also runs the Yorebridge House Hotel at Wensleydale in the North Yorkshire Moors, where you'll find the bathrooms tastefully and beautifully furnished to fabulously high standards, including VictoriaPlum.com products of course!

Runners up
Alan Beasley from Isle of Arran
Alan's beautiful design shows just what can be done in a small space like a downstairs cloakroom. Colours and patterns have been kept to a minimum, using mosaic tiles to add some interesting borders and a feature wall, but Alan has injected some wonderful contrast into the decor by selecting items from our Odessa Wenge range of bathroom furniture. A really clever use of space and with great style too!

"My original idea for the toilet was to use laminate boards to box in the cistern and support the sink but when costing this out compared to the units being offered, it was obvious what route to take. The toilet with soft seat closure was excellent value and the modern style of the sink along with the narrow design made the layout really workable."
"The idea of the tiles in two separate columns and not a completely tiled room came from looking at your website which displayed a tiled bathroom with a contrasting tile behind the sink area. Sample tiles were obtained using the ‘Free Sample’ offer which was invaluable in deciding the finished look."
"The quality of the fittings and all supplementary items are of the highest standard and fitted together first time without any issues at all. I had ordered by mistake the wrong waste fitting for the sink and this was rectified easily with one of the friendly customer service team. I’m currently updating the main bathroom and I will certainly be ordering my items from VictoriaPlum.com, excellent service and pricing."

Red sandstone, with lath and plaster walls—just one of the obstacles Alan had to overcome
Tony Antoniou from Surrey
Tony's design demonstrates a very clean and modern style, with plenty of storage space and an abundance of light. With such a spacious bathroom, Tony has been able to use larger tiles in beige and black. They work really well here.

Share your April showers (and bathroom suites, baths & furniture) with us**
Our latest Share your Style competition is now open. So, if you've recently installed your new VictoriaPlum.com bathroom and you feel it should be shown off to the world, why not enter?
It's an easy 3 step process:
STEP 1
Get your bathroom ready. You want to show it off to its full potential, so make sure bath mats, toiletries and the like are moved out of the way. Plus, make sure your toilet lid is firmly in the "down" position.
STEP 2
Ensure there is a good balance of light when you take your pic. Try to avoid using a flash as these tend to reflect in mirrors.
STEP 3
Go to our Share your Style page and follow the instructions to send us your pic.
If you have a "before" photo, feel free to send it to us, so we can all see how majestic your makeover really is.
On Twitter? Why not tweet your pic? Mention @VictoriaplumUK and use the hashtag #VPShareYourStyle.
Good luck!
