Craig & Rose ammonite kitchen & bathroom paint 2.5L

Although this paint is moisture resistant Jon, we wouldn't advise to use it in your shower, or in other splash zones such as behind your basin - these areas should be tiled. Despite this, this paint is perfect for use in bathrooms and kitchens as the moisture-resistance helps prevent mould forming.

Craig & Rose paint has a low amount of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds: the solvents which cause paint odour). Low VOCs are less harmful to humans and the environment. We'd still recommend opening windows and ventilating when painting and whilst the paint is drying.

Great question Ted. There are a few preparations that should be carried out before you start painting. All furniture should be moved away from the walls and covered over with large dust sheets, it's always best to remove all blinds/curtains too at this point. Tape over any fixtures/ fittings that cannot be removed, especially light switches etc. Once you'd done this check the walls are clean, dry and dust-free and you're all set.

Good questions Olive. Although the drying time is 2-4 hours, this paint should be left a minimum of 48 hours before exposure to any moisture such as shower steam.

Hi Rupert, of course! Although this paint has been developed to cope with high moisture levels, it can still be used in any other room of your house.

Hi Ray, absolutely fine. As usual we’d recommend 'cutting in' around the edges of the room, light switches etc. then paint the main wall surface with your roller, in vertical strokes, overlapping each stroke slightly. Take care not to overload or press too hard on the roller to squeeze the paint out. 2 coats will be best up to and overlapping, the edges you've cut in. You only need to paint the cutting in once and avoid the temptation of painting them again, after you've completed the main wall surface.
