Does the overflow have a metal cover? It looks like there isn't on the photo, but need to be sure. I want to replace the plug for a brass one. Is this possible?

Janet Charlesworth - 3 months ago

Hi Janet this freestanding bath doesn't have an overflow cover plate, the bath waste could be changed over but we wouldn't recommend this as the waste is pre-fitted, thanks.

Is this bath designed to be fitted flush to the Wallace sealed etc or close to a wall as a space saver? I wanted it away from the wall with space all around it..

Beverly Daws - 4 months ago

Hi Beverly, as this is a freestanding bath it could be placed in the centre of the room. It doesn't have to be near a wall.

Rather than the waste go under the floor, is it possible to cut into the side of the bath at the back (out of sight) so the waste pipe can run along at floor level and be joined to existing surface mounted pipes?

Tim - 4 months ago

Hi Tim we wouldn't recommend this, the floor would need to be channeled so the trap can fit underneath the bath waste, a waterless trap such as product code - WQTR05 would use less space though, thanks.

Hi, can you tell me what the bath width is at it's narrowest point? Thanks

Rebecca Marais - 4 months ago

The narrowest part is approx. 450mm Rebecca.

Can I use a wall mounted tap at the narrower end of the bath? I already have pipes in the wall from when the building was built 13 years ago. Also can the bath sit on laminate flooring?

Michele - 5 months ago

Hi Michele if the bath is close enough to the wall so the wall mounted taps project far enough into the bath then this would be fine, as long as the floor is strong enough to support the bath then this would be fine, the floor would need channeling slightly though so there's space for the waste trap to fit properly, thanks.

I am interested in this bath, but I intend having brass fittings in the bathroom. Is it possible to change the waste and replace it with the Crosswater PRO0210F Bath click clack waste/overflow in Brushed brass, to match all of the taps/shower fittings etc. It is currently a chrome waste fitting and so will not match. Many thanks

JANET CHARLESWORTH - 5 months ago

Hi Janet we'd recommend using the pre-fitted waste supplied with the freestanding bath, this can be changed though if required, thanks.

1. What type of waste is fitted and is it slotted for the overflow? 2. Is the overflow built in to the bath construction? 3. Can I use an overflow fill fitting even if it does not function as an overflow? 4. Can I fit a pop up waste if some other waste is fitted at manufacture?

Brian - 5 months ago

Hi Brian this freestanding bath has a built in bath waste and overflow, the waste is slotted for the overflow and the waste has a separate overflow pipe but this can sometimes be partially built into the bath during manufacturing, we'd recommend using the waste and overflow supplied with the bath, thanks.

Is it possible to see what the underneath of the bath looks like for waste pipes etc. Thanks.

Hannah - 11 months ago

This is the same a a standard bath Hannah, but the waste needs to go under the floor.

Does this have to have the freestanding bath tap illustrated, or can different wall mounted taps be used?

Anne Crozier - 1 year ago

Any wall mounted or freestanding tap would be suitable for this bath, Anne.
