What is Power-Up?

Power-Up is all about pushing the boundaries of what your bathroom can do in terms of both smart technology and contemporary style.

Featuring what many would consider to be luxury items, such as a waterproof TV and a smart showering system, it’s a tantalising glimpse of the bathroom of the future. However, with smart technology no longer costing the earth, this type of bathroom is well within your grasp.

Complemented by richer, deeper colours, the interplay of light and dark is an important feature in this bathroom. LED lighting is used in unusual and interesting ways to both highlight and illuminate.

Capturing the essence of the darker interiors trend, which will be a major look for 2019, this futuristic bathroom utilises a combination of grey wall tiles, painted walls and coloured shower wall panels for a truly immersive experience. How to create your own Power-Up bathroom

Of course, your own bathroom may not be quite as large as the one pictured above, so you can pick and choose which elements to include. Think carefully about who will use your bathroom and their own unique needs. For example, in a family bathroom, a smart showering system could be ideal, allowing everyone to fully customise their experience.

Smart showering

Moving on from conventional mixer and electric showers, digital or smart showering systems are a great way to take your experience to another level entirely.

With the ability to fully customise your shower, right down to the exact temperature and duration, these showers even work with remote controls, so you can set them running from the comfort and warmth of your own bed.
