If you’re still thinking about updating your bathroom, time is marching on! This month, I'm going to show you my favourite bathroom products, including some fab new lines, to give your space fresh appeal.
This year really is flying by, isn't it? With spring just about visible on the horizon, it’s always good to check out what’s hot in bathroom design. For March, I’ve picked out some fresh items that will help you produce a minimalist contemporary look, no matter how large or small your bathroom may be. I’ve focused on an on-trend grey colour scheme for a calm and relaxing feel.
See my mood board below which demonstrates how all these products work together.
My favourite furniture is...
...Nouvel gloss grey fitted furniture from Mode Bathrooms.
New to our range for 2019, this fabulous furniture makes the best use of space, providing additional storage for a clutter-free environment. The great thing about fitted furniture is that it provides a seamless look with a large number of combinations for all types of bathroom layout.
The Nouvel range is sleek and stylish with modern metal drawer and cupboard handles, plus adjustable feet for easy installation. Concealing all your pipework and ridding your room of awkward nooks and crannies, it makes spring cleaning a breeze!
My favourite tap is...
…the Spencer square basin mixer tap from Mode Bathrooms.
Featuring a clean, minimalist design, this stylish tap is both easy to use and highly desirable. Thanks to high quality PVD plating, the hand-polished chrome finish is designed to last. Plus, with a range of special finishes to choose from, including gold, rose gold, brushed nickel and brushed black, you really can add a unique finishing touch to your basin.
My favourite wall panel is...
…the Herringbone acrylic shower wall panel.
If you’re looking to add pattern to your bathroom design but simply don’t want to spend hours and hours tiling, this acrylic wall panel is the quick and easy way to “fake it”.
Whilst we stock a huge range of shower wall panels, this design really stood out for me—in fact, I’m considering it for my own home! The neutral colour scheme and herringbone pattern are subtle enough for a contemporary setting.
I absolutely adore shower wall panels; they are the next generation of surface finishes. Simple to install and even easier to clean, they can be fitted straight over tiles. It’s a wonder why they're still relatively unheard of when compared to tiles.
My favourite flooring is...
…Krono Xonic Macchiato waterproof vinyl flooring.
Why go to the expense of tiling, when the latest vinyl bathroom flooring gives you all the benefits of wood but without the maintenance?
From market-leading global suppliers Kronospan, Krono Xonic flooring is 100% waterproof with an anti-bacterial coating that is easy to clean. This particular design fits perfectly with a more neutral colour scheme.
My favourite heating is...
…the Burton white heated towel rail from Mode Bathrooms.
It’s time to tone down the chrome with the hottest towel rail in town! New to our range, I think this product is perfect for contemporary bathrooms, with a white finish and straight ladder design which provides plenty of hanging space for towels.
My favourite accessories are…
…the Mineral grey accessory range.
These fabulous accessories will provide the perfect finishing touch for your basin. Made from durable polyresin, they have been designed with an organic appearance, complementing a grey colour scheme perfectly. There’s a soap dish, toothbrush holder, tumbler and soap dispenser to choose from, or simply add all 4!
