We’re delighted to reveal TV and radio presenter—not to mention busy mum of 3—Helen Skelton as our first ever brand ambassador.
Known for her TV and radio presenting, we’re thrilled to welcome Helen to the Victoria Plum team.
As our first ever brand ambassador, Helen will be involved in a range of activities including community and sustainability projects across the UK. With Helen’s interest in home improvements, we also look forward to working with her on new product ranges, style guides (see below!) and much, much more besides.
Here’s one we made earlier…
Over to Helen…
Speaking about the partnership, Helen said: “Making home improvements is something I’ve long had a personal interest in which means I understand the hopes and expectations of Victoria Plum’s customers.”
“I also know it’s a progressive business that’s dedicated to providing a great customer experience and delivering a beautiful end result.”
“It feels right for me to partner with Victoria Plum because I like the people, products and the way they successfully go about helping make customers achieve their dream bathrooms.”
Our Chief Executive Officer Paul McClenaghan is delighted to be working with Helen, saying: “We have been considering appointing a brand ambassador for some time and Helen was always top of our list.”
“Her down-to-earth nature, relatability and warm personality fits perfectly with our values and makes her the ideal person to partner with.”
“We have lots of exciting plans with Helen in the coming months and we can’t wait to get started!”

Record Breaker
In 2009, Helen became just the second female to complete the Namibian ultra marathon, running the 78 mile distance in 23 hours and 45 minutes. As well as this, Helen has finished the London Marathon three times.
Just a year later, Helen kayaked the entire length of the Amazon river (2,010 miles), achieving two Guinness World Records: longest solo journey by kayak and the longest distance travelled in a kayak by a woman in 24 hours.
Helen followed up her exploits in 2011 with a 150-metre-long, 66-metre-high tightrope walk between chimneys at Battersea Power Station, and, the following year, became the first person to reach the South Pole using a bicycle, covering over 500 miles and achieving even more Guinness World Records along the way.
It's a 10 from us!
