3 inspirational bathroom videos from the Ideal Home Show

Didn't make it to the Ideal Home Show 2018? Don't worry... take a look at these 3 inspirational videos which bring our fabulous bathrooms to life.

As we mentioned in our previous blog post, we were proud to show off 3 of our own stunning bathroom designs at the Ideal Home Show which ran from 17th March to 3rd April 2018. Each demonstrating a highly contemporary and on-trend look, we hope you'll feel inspired when it comes to designing your own bathroom.

Soft Industrial

Awarded a prestigious "Good Homes Loves" tag by Good Homes magazine, this bathroom proved extremely popular with show-goers thanks to our new take on this popular interior style.

Karen Walker, Editor of Good Homes magazine, said "This is, I think, my favourite look. It's a way of introducing that New York warehouse theme with a softer edge into your home. We've got hints of black and charcoal, which is a really big trend this season. We've seen lots of drama, lots of blacks. But this is more about a softer feel. It's the tin bath gives it that sort of silver edge, so it actually softens the masculinity of it and brings a bit of femininity to the scheme.

I also love the double curvaceous sinks. His and her sinks are just the ultimate for me, that's what I want in a bathroom. I want to leave my husband's sink over there and I want to have my own one to enjoy.

And also what else is really great about this room is the walk in shower. It's easy to clean, it looks gorgeous and they've finished it with a really grey sort of wallpaper, rather than a red brick, so again it brings that New York industrial feel, but again with a softer edge."

Oriental Spa

Calming, soothing and designed to enlighten and relax, our Oriental Spa bathroom provided a peaceful oasis amongst all the hustle and bustle of the show.

Karen from Good Homes said: "This takes its trend and its theme from the Far East, mixing lots of natural and dark elements. Lots of clean ergonomic lines. The freestanding bath is a prime example; it's gorgeous, it's streamlined, it's curvaceous, it's beautiful. And for me, one of the great standing out points of this room is the water feature. It's a sunken fish tank. A great feature."

French Floral

Looking pretty in pink, our French Floral roomset certainly set some pulses racing at the Ideal Home Show.

Karen from Good Homes said "I would say it's a refined shabby chic. It's Parisien style. It's very ornate, it's very glamorous, but also it's very classic. And for me it's the panelling on the walls, the edging, it's the really ornate feet on the freestanding bath. The ornate taps. Our magazine is all about accessorising and colour, and what better way to bring in the botanical trend than with faux flowers and faux plants. I love a bit of faux, because they look so real now. Accessorisers, don't save it for your conservatory, bring it into the bathroom. Love it."
