Some of the most inspiring bathrooms we've ever seen have been created by customers. In this blog post, we'll be sharing 3 of our favourites with you.

If you're mad into interior design like me, you'll love looking around other peoples' homes (with their permission, of course!) to get some fresh ideas. That's why we positively encourage all our customers to send us photos of their new bathrooms, which we feature in our monthly Share your Style round-up.

In this article, we've selected 3 customer bathrooms which demonstrate the very best in contemporary style, primarily using products from Mode Bathrooms. Each contemporary bathroom suite demonstrates how this style can really stand out from the crowd.

Stephen Bett from Glasgow

Stephen Bett’s winning bathroom from our January #VPShareYourStyle competition features a show-stopping freestanding bath, walk in shower, and even space for some stylish walnut bathroom furniture. We think it’s marvellous, and we're sure you do too!

Why do we love this bathroom?

What makes this bathroom so contemporary in its appearance is the clean lines and simple forms. There is nothing overly fussy, all the elements come together to form a bathroom décor that’s simple and stylish.

The Harrison freestanding bath is a clean oval design and is perfectly complemented by the Metro waterfall bath filler tap. The rectangular walk in shower enclosure helps to keep the space feeling open and light, whilst simple neutral tiling means that the walnut furniture and anthracite radiator add just the right amount of contrast.

Aaron Burke from Halifax

Aaron’s bathroom layout may be slightly irregular, but he has used the alcoves and space available to its maximum potential. Aaron took full advantage of a recess to create a self-contained shower area. He also fitted a freestanding bath and used his creativity by combining the radiator with a full-length mirror.

Why do we love this bathroom?

A monochrome bathroom colour scheme has been employed to keep things simple. There are no grand embellishments; the Arte freestanding bath doesn’t dominate the room.

The bath has been complemented with a contemporary freestanding bath tap, whilst the shower door features a sliding opening, so it doesn’t intrude on the rest of the room.

Textured dark grey tiling has been used in one half of the room, whilst the other half has been mirrored in a light grey gloss tile, for great interplay between light and dark. Fitted bathroom furniture also adds a clean and tidy element to this layout.

Lorraine Malcolm from Larbert

Our second bathroom from north of the border, was designed by Lorraine Malcolm. Lorraine has created a beautiful contemporary space by mixing and matching elements, including a modern take on the more traditional slipper bath, plus a sleek vanity unit, perfect for keeping all those bathroom essentials tucked away and hidden from view.

Why do we love this bathroom?

Well, there’s plenty going on in this bathroom, but Lorraine has used all her creativity to keep things simple. Beautiful tiles and border decorations combine with the dark vanity unit. The look is given a touch of glamour with an LED mirror and silver coloured accessories, which work perfectly well with the chrome finishes of the Matrix bath filler and Escala tap.

Lorraine said:

“I found the bath I wanted at Victoria Plum, I thought the slipper bath was so classy. The prices for all products are very good and excellent quality. The black units were perfect and I finally found the tiles that did the trick. I ordered my items online simple and I loved the ability to pick your delivery date. So convenient to use. The delivery was smooth, a phone call from the delivery driver beforehand with approximate time and very professional. Would I use Victoria Plum again? Absolutely...”
