Unlike some bathroom retailers, here at Victoria Plum, we use our own 2 person teams to deliver large orders. So, why do we do this and what are the benefits to you?
We believe that buying a bathroom from us should be an exciting and hassle-free experience, rather than one you venture into with trepidation. This is why, when you place an order containing multiple products (over 30kg in weight and/or containing fragile items), it will be delivered by a specialist 2 person team, offering a bespoke service that fits with your lifestyle.
When you come to check out, you’ll discover some of the most flexible delivery options in the bathroom business, including next day delivery (if you order before 6pm) and express delivery, plus a choice of time slots, so you needn’t wait in all day. For a small, additional charge, our team will even deliver your products to the room of your choice, meaning we’ll do all the hard work for you.
And, what’s more, standard delivery is FREE!

Exceptional availability
Lately, we’ve read all about driver shortages in the news. However, by employing our own teams, we have no such issues. Compared to other retailers, you’ll find no unexpected availability issues when it comes to booking the delivery date and service you desire.
Free delivery
By using our own teams, we can keep costs low, passing the savings on to you. Standard delivery is FREE and you can upgrade for a small additional charge.
Acting honourably
As an integral part of our service, our delivery teams are proud to represent Victoria Plum and will always do their very best to help you, whatever your situation may be. If carrying goods into your property, they’ll even pop shoe covers on to help keep your carpets and floors clean.
Keeping you safe
Despite COVID regulations being relaxed, we have extra measures in place to keep both you and our colleagues safe. Most of our deliveries are contactless, however, where our team do need to enter your property, they will wear PPE (personal protective equipment) as appropriate and keep a 2 metre distance from you. We’re all on the same wavelength
Our delivery teams are in direct contact with our Customer Care Team, meaning any issue can be resolved swiftly and with the minimum of fuss.
Track and Trace
If you have a smartphone, you can access our Track and Trace app, where you can check where your delivery team are on a map with live ETA (expected time of arrival) updates. So, there is absolutely no need to wait in all day.
Keeping you informed
With a 2 person team, the non-driver will keep you informed with a text (or call, if you don’t have a mobile) on the morning of your delivery and a follow up text, once they are on their way to your address. If there are any hold-ups (we all know what British roads can be like!), they will let you know.
Expert care and handling
Our delivery teams are experts when it comes to handling bathroom products. Combined with specialist packaging, the risk of knocks, dents, scratches and nicks are greatly reduced, when compared to more general couriers. They’ll also ensure nothing of yours gets damaged when carrying items into your property.
Final inspection
With made-to-order items, your delivery team will inspect them with you, ensuring you’re 100% happy with your products before signing for them.

When won’t my delivery be 2 person?
In some cases, 2 person delivery won’t be available:
- If your order is below 30kg in weight and/or not classified as fragile (will be delivered by Royal Mail or Parcelforce or choose Click and Collect (20kg and under))
- If your products are delivered direct by a supplier (using their own experienced couriers)
- If you live outside UK mainland (in this case, a local service may be used)
These are, of course, the exception to the rule and ALL other large orders are delivered by a 2 person team.
