Which bathroom products will you fall for this autumn? Our in-house Stylist Nicky Taha has picked out 11 of the best to help you create a Great British Bathroom to be proud of.
With the summer holidays fading away into the distance, I feel it’s high time I lightened the mood a little. One thing I did manage to do, whilst spending a bit of downtime in the sun, was catch up on some upcoming trends in interior design. I certainly wasn’t disappointed!
As there are so many new and exciting trends set to make an impact this autumn, I decided to pick out a few different products to demonstrate each one.

Marvellous marble
The most elegant of bathroom materials, marble is guaranteed to add a touch of class to your interiors. Of course, being smooth and luxurious nature, the real thing can cost a pretty penny, which is why many of us are turning to marble effect designs as a cost-effective way to fake it.
If you’d like to create a “marble-ous” bathroom (apologies for the terrible pun!), you could splash out on a genuine marble countertop basin (like the Hale white and grey marble countertop basin pictured above) or simply add some smaller marble accessories to your basin area.
For a more comprehensive marble look right around your bathroom, why not consider this gorgeous grey marble effect wallpaper?

Statement walls
If you really want to make your mark on your bathroom design, why not consider a statement walls. They are back in fashion this autumn and can be easily achieved, even on a budget.
Give boring old tile designs the heave-ho and replace with a funky new pattern, like this mix of metro tiles in a variety of colours?
Why not go wild with this zebra pattern on your shower enclosure walls?
There are so many different tile patterns for your bathroom, so you certainly won’t be short of inspiration.
Art Deco set to make a comeback
Art Deco design has always held a certain fascination for bathroom designers up and down the country. With the Downton Abbey film launching in September 2019, I expect to see a resurgence in its popularity.
Whether you go the whole hog and deck out your bathroom in a 1920s theme or simply wish to add a few Art Deco touches here and there, I can certainly recommend these stunning black handled taps from The Bath Co.
Art Deco is all about geometric shapes and sleek lines, which is why this classic mirror will reflect well on you.
Of course, the pièce de résistance (as Poirot might have said) of any Art Deco bathroom is the tub. This black freestanding bath is the perfect place to while away those hours in period splendour.

It’s all about colour
If there’s one trend I really like, it’s the use of more bold and vibrant colours. Perhaps a bit of a backlash against minimalist styles and monochrome palettes, we’re starting to see a more adventurous approach to bathroom design.
Coloured ceramics are making a comeback, which is why I’ve picked out this beautiful blue coloured countertop basin from our Orion range.
I’ve always quite fancied a blush pink wall in my bathroom and, with these bright metro tiles, it’s easy to do.
Of course, you don’t have to update your permanent fixtures. Add a quick and simple pop of colour with these gorgeous saffron towels.
