Little Bathroom Victory No 1: A warm and welcoming contemporary cloakroom
Whilst you won’t be inviting any visitors to your home, it’s the perfect time to create a cloakroom that’s warm and welcoming—especially in households which you share with several family members.
Before
As you can see, the original cloakroom is pretty bare with just a wall hung toilet and basin, a relatively neutral colour scheme and no storage space.
After
The transformation is simple yet highly effective. We now have a bright pop of colour on one of the walls, in the form of colourful wall tiles, while stylish, matching accessories provide space for your toilet roll, toilet brush and toothbrushes.
We've also added a large round mirror, which is multi-functional, helping to create the illusion of space whilst giving you a handy place to check your hair and makeup.
Finally, we've also included additional shelving space for all those little essentials, in the form of easy-to-fit wall cubes.
Whilst this cloakroom may be small, I'm sure you'll agree, all of these little changes make a big impression!
Products used
- Marseille turquoise mix gloss wall tile 100mm x 100mm
- Orchard round bevelled edge drilled bathroom mirror 600 x 600mm

Little Bathroom Victory No 2:Adding accent to your bathroom
Family bathrooms are, by their very nature, practical spaces. However, there is the risk that they can become overly functional, with no real sense of style—certainly not the type of room you'd enjoy spending time in!
Before
This traditional style bathroom is already quite beautiful and, with a multi-functional shower bath, provides everything a busy family could need. However, it still looks a little stark and austere.
After
To add accent to the bathroom design, we've incorporated matching navy blue towels, a bath mat and a roller blind, plus some new coordinated accessories which complement the vintage theme. Meanwhile, the Art Deco style mirror makes a real difference to the overall look and feel of the room.
We also decided to refresh the shower area with new shower wall panels, which can be simply fitted over the existing wall covering. The marble effect design helps to create a more luxurious backdrop.
Products used
- Michigan anthracite grey stone effect matt wall and floor tile 600mm x 600mm
- Clermont lace white flat matt wall tile 100mm x 300mm
- The Bath Co. Beaumont bathroom mirror 800 x 600mm
- The Bath Co. Camberley 2 piece toilet accessory pack

Little Bathroom Victory No 3: A classic cloakroom with character
Another cloakroom makeover and yet another Little Bathroom Victory! When it comes to style, traditional interiors are timeless, yet they can begin to look jaded as the years go by. To help you turn back the clock, there are some quick and easy things you can do.
Before
This traditional style downstairs cloakroom contains a classic close coupled toilet and slimline vanity unit with basin. However, without those all-important finishing touches, it remains a little uninspiring and untidy.
After
With a combination of bright teal tiles and beautiful patterned wallpaper, we've immediately brightened up this tiny space. The mirror cabinet is in-keeping with the design theme, helping to create a more spacious feel, while the wall hung accessory set finally gives the toilet roll a place to call home.
